Bertrand III of Baux (also known as Bertrando Del Balzo) was the 3rd Count of Andria and Squillace, and the 9th Lord of Baux. He was born in August 1295 at Andria, Italy to Bertrand II of Baux and Berengaria of Andria and married Margerite d'Aulnay in about 1324. He died on 15 September 1347 in Naples, Italy and was buried at San Domenico Maggiore.

Margaret was a daughter of Charles II of Naples and Maria of Hungary (1257-1323). She married Charles at Corbeil on 16 August 1290.

Portail des Jacobins is a big gate located in one of the entrances of Grand-Carcassonne, which is surrounded by a road. Here you can see the gate and there is a square, where there are some restaurants and bars, and it is possible to come here and play with children. Nice place to enter to new Carcassonne (not to the old Middle-Ages town).
